Outfit of the Day: Staring at the Rain

On Thursday it rained all morning. Turns out Ollie isn’t a huge fan of thunder. I learned that when he jumped on my face in bed after a particularly loud clap of thunder.

This is what I wore on that dreary Dallas morning.

ImageTop: Loft

Jeans: Democracy (from Nordstrom Rack)

Blazer: Massimo (Thrifted!)

Shoes: Audrey Brooke (from DSW)

Ollie-pop and I are looking out at the heavy rain. He wasn’t amused by the weather. He’s definitely a Texas boy-he likes it warm and dry out!

ImageI love this printed t-shirt from the Loft. My mom took me on a little shopping trip on Sunday, and kindly treated me to this shirt and a couple other cute pieces. The simple print makes it a little more special than a plain solid t-shirt! I also rocked the top-knot, as you do when it’s raining so hard that it’s a punkin’ floater. (I heard that phrase, punkin’ floater, on NPR’s “A Way With Words” this morning. It’s like if it rained so hard at the pumpkin patch that the pumpkins floated away. I kind of love it.)
